World Courier portal enhancements

New for April 2024: Enhanced order process and more intuitive shipping reports
We are excited to announce the release of the first set of enhancements to the Customer Portal for 2024, effective April 5. For these enhancements, we have carefully considered your feedback and crafted enhancements that we believe will bring the most value to you.
The latest release introduces a significantly improved Shipment Report feature. It now includes new and enhanced columns for more straightforward data retrieval; eliminating the need to search through multiple information channels. In addition, we have upgraded the order entry process — notably, temperature readings can now be sent to up to ten designated email addresses, simplifying your communication process.
Customer Portal enhancement highlights:
Order process
- “Send temperature reading to” field has been expanded to accommodate up to ten email addresses, allowing for easier inclusion of more recipients.
- Enhanced order entry step by expanding “item details window” by default to prevent users from forgetting to enter item details and ensure successful order submission.
- Renamed “number of ship units” to “number of external boxes”; and “number of ship units” to “quantity” for clarity making it easier for users to understand the purpose of these fields.
- Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) code, additional comments, and third-party billing information entered on an order will now be visible in Order History and the “View Order” page for better information visibility.
Shipment reports
Added following information to shipping reports:
- Item ID: Detailed information for each item within the shipment
- Temp. monitor: Indicates whether the shipment contained a temperature monitor or not
- Item description: Renamed from “item”
- External boxes: Renamed from “pieces"
- Temperature handling unit: Shows the temperature range(s) of the shipment (for example: refrigerated, frozen, etc.)
- Replenishment date: Contains dates indicating time of replenishment
- Replenishment details: Provides information on replenishment, including type and weight
- Added “Invoice Date” filter for better user search result filtering
