In his role as Sub-Regional Director for the NCEE’s Nordic & Baltic countries, Mattias is responsible for the strategic long-term growth of our companies in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland as well as for the Finnish-controlled agent-serviced countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. In addition to leading business development activities, Mattias is also responsible for ensuring operational excellence within the sub-region and group alignment with broader regional and global policies and strategies. 

Mattias is well-versed in all of World Courier’s key functions, having held positions in virtually every area of the company — from Operations and Customer Service to Sales, Marketing and Training — since first joining WC Sweden in 1996. A decade later he was promoted to Managing Director (Sweden). In 2007 he temporarily took on the same role in Denmark before being named Sub-Regional Director (Nordics) in 2010. Two years later, in 2012, the Baltic countries were added to his portfolio when he was named Managing Director (Finland). 

Mattias holds a Diploma in Marketing & Economics as well as a number of professional business and logistics certifications. He is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
